If you don’t follow the Kira DeDecker Photography Facebook page (and shame on you if you don’t, it hurts my dogs’ feelings), or you missed you out on a few photos (because FB is dumb sometimes) you may have missed photos of dogs in bowties and gorgeous sunset photos!

Sometimes when I look at them, I feel like my heart could burst.

Actually, I don’t feel like bursting “sometimes”, it’s all the time.

A bonded Beast. I get this look a lot. He is a complete and utter mama’s boy (whatever, I love it). He gets a lot attention when are out and and about but he doesn’t care for anyone but me…not even my husband can steal him from me. After I lost Peetie, I didn’t think I could let another dog into my life, but from the moment he reached out from his kennel and pawed me in the car while I was bringing him home, I was smitten.

The beasts were waaay over due for the grooming (like months) so excuse his ragamuffin appearance. Tim (that’s that dude that I’m married to) is creating a grooming station in the garage so in the meantime they look like this…(which albeit is still totes adorable!)

This is why I love shooting RAW. First shot out of my camera to test my flash and camera settings, tad overexposed but totally fixable. Obviously for the final ‘After’ shot, I changed the orientation from portrait to landscape.

Monsoon season. A breath of fresh air.

I bought bow ties for the boys. I REGRET NOTHING!
