For the first few months after Peetie’s passing, I had to avoid any and all photos of her, it was just too much and I would end up sobbing. Now seeing photos of her makes my heart feel both heavy and full. While sifting through my 2010 archives, I came across a series of images of Miss Peet’s, photos I haven’t seen or even remembering taking and suddenly a flood of memories came back to me.
It feels good to remember the little things.
