I am finally getting a dog door! It took a long time because we had to look for solution that would let us keep the French doors and also not cut into our brick walls. We are replacing the current faux French doors with a set of working smaller French doors and with the space left over creating a fake wall and installing the dog door there which sounds easy and reasonable but…
The doors we needed were either broken or out of stock at almost every store
The dog door we needed was also out of stock and hard to find
When we removed the doors a bunch of bees flew in scaring me then they died which then made me very sad.
The new doors will be finished and installed tomorrow and I can’t wait. Hopefully the new dog door will cut down on the night terrors.

Tim just informed that the fake wall is a real wall it just isn’t brick.
