The dog days of summer are finally over! I have to say, I think September might be the worst month…after August…and June and July. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I hate summer. A lot. Since I can’t shoot during the summer, and once again, I wasn’t able to finish and open my studio for clients (I’m really great a procrastinating, y’all), I spent a good chunk of the summer catching up on the not so glamourous side of my job with things like: archiving, TPT taxes, accounting, re-doing copy and so on.

Where was I going with all this? I honestly have no idea but here is what you may have missed during the month of September (aka Dappertember).

I will never not love this photo. I especially love the photo on the right, it just screams “JAZZ HANDS” to me.

LR only edit. Notice something missing in the ‘After photo’. I came up with a neat new trick to remove hazy foreground distractions in Lightroom.

Also, could this dog being any more handsome? (The correct answer is “no, and it hurts to look at him, his good looks are burning my eyes but I can’t look away.”)
