I had the pleasure of meeting Marie and her brand new rescue puppy, Winston. Marie is the extremely talented founder and creative director of Two Penny Blue and wanted to set up a session while she was in the valley (her husband is with the Chicago Cubs, so they were down here for spring training).

Since it was a last minute session – she had just adopted Winston – I had no idea what kind of dog I would be photographing that day. So, I was a bit nervous when I rang their doorbell and didn’t hear any barking – I thought I had the wrong house but when she opened the door I spotted the most adorable puppy – it was instant love for me and my husband/assistant. When I say Winston is a wonder, I mean it. He posed for the camera without and begging and bribing and I never barked once.
Thanks for a great photoshoot Marie, I’m so glad you choose me to photograph your amazing pup. And I look forward to seeing Ping next year when he is all grown-up!
