Rex and Deliah’s session is from 2011 but unfortunately, most of my old blog entries are now broken so I made the decision to re-feature them on the blog!
Rex and Deliah’s mom is the event coordinator for Arizona Beagle Rescue. That’s actually how I met her! She was working the ABR booth at the Phoenix Pet Expo, which happened to be just across from mine. She booked a home session and I couldn’t have been more thrilled.
Their home was gorgeous, but their yard, simply put, is AMAZING. It is an absolute paradise for dogs and humans alike. There was lush grass, ample shade, gorgeous trees and a brick porch with a bench with amazing texture and color. And if that wasn’t enough of a photographer’s dream, Rex and Deliah were all more than happy to strike a pose every time I looked in their direction.
Kira DeDecker is an on-location lifestyle pet photographer specializing in one-of-a-kind fine art and modern portraits. She works exclusively with dogs, cats and all other four legged creatures to create vibrant, quirky and soulful works of art.She also photographs needy animals pro-bono for non-profit animal organizations (like Cavalier Rescue USA).
Kira DeDecker Photography is a editorial and commercial pet photographer based in Glendale AZ and serves the Metro Phoenix area (Scottsdale, Peoria, Phoenix, Suncity, Surprise, Goodyear, Avondale and Tempe) and beyond.
