If you follow me on Facebook (if you aren’t start, I make a fool of myself on there almost daily) you probably heard about Miss Peet’s medical drama.

To get you caught up here is 411: Took her to the vet for what we thought was constipation, but after they x-rayed her that discovered that wasn’t the case; Her colon was clean but she had a mass pressing against her stomach. The vet than asked to do a blood test and an ultrasound and those results weren’t even better, her levels were off (one so high the machine couldn’t even read them) and she needed a sonographer to do an ultrasound so they referred us Sonora vet specialist. The specialist did an ultrasound and we were told that she probably will need to have surgery to remove gallbladder stones. So she stayed at the vet for 48 hours to make sure her gallbladder didn’t rupture and to treat her gallbladder medically until her surgery was decided.

Well, I’m happy to report that Peetie responded well to the meds so she doesn’t need surgery! My baby girl is home, resting where she should be.
