Yesterday Tim and I hauled the dogs to Petsmart to buy some more dog food. We passed a sign announcing that a local rescue was there for the usual Saturday pet adoptions. I thought nothing of it since this particular group seems to be focused on large dogs and Tim and I restricted to small animals (Sox has large dog aggression). As we passed through the doors I immediately spotted the all too familiar tail of a Pomeranian. Both of us walked over just “take a look” next thing I know we are adopting her.
The rescue group called her Erma but we have renamed her Bixby. The only things I know about her is that she was found on the streets following around other stray dogs for food and shelter and that she may have some sort of unresolved medical issue.
Sometimes I think we are crazy for having three dogs but my husband just says we are a Pom family.
